Agricultural crops manager job in Australia

Webster is one of Australia’s largest agricultural producers with more than 40,000 hectares of fertile premium land in southern New South Wales focusing on cotton and livestock.

Reporting to Cropping Manager, we are looking for someone who understands the extensive duties associated with an extensive planting plant. You will be responsible for operating the equipment for a range of agricultural activities.

Your duties will include:

Selecting, controlling and operating tractors, trucks and other types of automated equipment used in activities such as land preparation, planting, spraying, fertilizing, harvesting and storage. Carry out daily maintenance procedures for equipment and storage facilities. Perform other work tasks with crops or livestock as appropriate, such as farm maintenance and cleaning, irrigation, crop impacts and workshop burning.
Salary is $ 18 an hour for 45 or 55 hours per week only

Basic parameters:
A valid driver’s license. Basic understanding of crop production. Knowledge in preventive maintenance and the ability to make minor repairs is an advantage. Ability to work independently.

Required standards:
HR License, Forklift License and ChemCert Approval. Safety awareness and WHS procedures.
